Expanded Polystyrene Foam Board

UNIFLEX EPS expanded polystyrene foam board is the generic industry name for the white rigid cellular plastic foam material derived from petroleum and natural gas by products. UNIFLEX EPS is manufactured using beads of foam within a mould, heat and steam is then applied directly to the beads which causes them to expand and fuse together to form blocks or shape moulds. This process produces a closed cell structure, not a closed cell insulation board, due to voids that can occur between the beads. UNIFLEX EPS is one of the lightest of all construction materials allowing ease of handling and faster construction times.
