Uniflex EPS
UNIFLEX EPS expanded polystyrene foam board is the generic industry name for the white rigid cellular plastic foam material derived from petroleum and natural gas by products.
UNIFLEX EPS is manufactured using beads of foam within a mould, heat and steam is then applied directly to the beads which causes them to expand and fuse together to form blocks or shape moulds. This process produces a closed cell structure, not a closed cell insulation board, due to voids that can occur between the beads.
UNIFLEX EPS is one of the lightest of all construction materials allowing ease of handling and faster construction times. Its outstanding thermal insulation properties and durability ensure performance throughout the full lifetime of the building and construction application in which it is used.

UNIFLEXFBTM BITUMINOUS FIBERBOARD is a compressible sheet manufactured from bitumen impregnated wood fibers to resist water absorption. It is a non-extruding, compressible joint filler to form and fill expansion and isolation joints for in-situ and pre-cast concrete construction. It is supplied in a range of standard thicknesses to suit most common applications.
UNIFLEXFBTM BITUMINOUS FIBERBOARD can also be used as a protection board to protect waterproofing systems against mechanical damage.

Uniflex PE™
Concrete expands and contracts according to temperature changes and therefore some type of filler is needed between slab work to keep the concrete from buckling when it expands and to fill the resultant gaps when the concrete contracts.
Expansion (movement) joints may be used between the slabs and also to separate the slabs from structures, thereby preventing damage that may occur during these expansion and contraction cycles.

UNIFLEX PE SLIP MEMBRANE is a pre-formed polyethylene strip designed for use in sliding joints in reinforced concrete structures where load bearing characteristics are present, and low friction resistance is required.
UNIFLEX PE SLIP MEMBRANE can be used under in-situ or precast concrete slabs and beams, structural steelwork bearing plates and pipe supports to form a thin sliding joint. It is resistant to most chemicals, solvents and weathering.
Two layers of UNIFLEX PE SLIP MEMBRANE can also be used for sliding wall joints, pre-stressed, post-tensioned circular concrete tanks or similar structures provided the safe load bearing capacity is not exceeded.

Uniflex RBCF
UNIFLEX RBCF is a resin bonded cork expansion joint fillers, it is manufactured from granulated cork bound together with a synthetic resin and highly suitable as a filler board support for joint sealants for use in movement joints.
UNIFLEX RBCF does not contain bitumen or tar and cannot impair the adhesion of any joint sealing compound by contaminating the joint faces. When subjected to wet or moist conditions, it is capable of swelling to occupy a larger volume than that of the material as supplied.
UNIFLEX RBCF is suitable for use in all types of concrete construction. It is particularly recommended for use in water retaining structures where it is essential that joints remain tightly packed even if they increase in width.
